Later wil ik groot worden is a very nice collection of children's poems full of recognizable subjects, lots of fantasy, a message here and there and especially lots of humor. Very nice to read for both young and old. "I really like this book because I get happy from short stories that rhyme and are funny." (Amél, 6 years old) "I really like the poem about moving because I would also like a little sister." (Jolie, 8 years old) "Super nice rhymes about current subjects. 5 / 5 stars!" (Noam, 12 years old)
Author Scipio Schippers wanted to become an actor. And a director and a singer and a presenter. But above all, he wanted to be big. He became a box unpacker, an alarm stickerer, a perfume seller, a jack of all trades, a joke creator and a bartender. At 178cm, he never really managed to become big...
In the end, he became what he most wanted to be: a dad. This inspired him to write these poems.
